DAF will be hosting a free StoryBoard workshop on 27 September 2019.  The aim of the workshop is to assist potential fashion students with creating a storyboard that can be used as part of their application into fashion education.

A storyboard is a creative visual representation that highlights the look and feel of your intended collection, often called a mood board, or an inspiration board.  The starting point of collating your research and inspiration into a clear and visually appealing format.

Once your inspiration has been creatively curated onto a page.  Its time to put your look together.  The storyboard should give a clear indication on colour, fabrics, and key items.  The next step will be to develop a look built out of your key items in the fabrics and colour that talk back to your mood.

The above images are an example of what one of our talented 3rd years are producing for their final range.  Taking this course sets you in the direction of your own final year range in a few years.

We look forward to hosting this event and meeting the future stars of the fashion industry.
