The advanced technical drawing course is designed for those with experience in Photoshop and Illustrator, wanting to take their fashion technical design to the next level. Learn how to efficiently render industry standard technical drawings.

COURSE OUTLINE
The Advanced Technical Drawing course is broken into 4 four-hour lessons on Saturdays at the DAF campus.
Lesson One:
- Introduction/Expectations and requirements. Stage 1 tutorial (outline and details).
Lesson Two:
- Stage 2 tutorial (topstitching details and nuance lines / shadows and fills).
Lesson Three:
- Stage 3 tutorial (filling with texture / buttons and buttonholes).
Lesson Four:
- Stage 4 tutorial (creating an industry standard tech-pack).”

Katy-Jane Huemer is a fashion designer and graphic artist. During her final year of her 3-year diploma at Design Academy of Fashion, Katy-Jane was already gaining industry experience through freelancing with one of South Africa’s largest fashion retailers. Katy-Jane continues to freelance for fashion suppliers, high-end brands, and major retailers. Ready to pass on her expert knowledge of industry-standard design.
